For over two decades, Food from the Heart (FFTH) has stood as a beacon of hope for the less fortunate in Singapore. What many people do not realize is that food insecurity does exist in Singapore and is, in fact, a sad reality for our beneficiaries. FFTH supported almost 60,000 beneficiaries and redistributed over S$7 million worth of food in 2023, providing vital sustenance, support, and a sense of belonging to those in need.
As we prepare to host Passion Ball 2024, our annual fundraising gala, we are delighted to come together once again to celebrate the spirit of giving and to effect even greater good.
Proudly presented by Audemars Piguet, Passion Ball, a staple in Singapore’s fundraising and social calendar, has been raising funds in support of the less fortunate in Singapore since 2004, with all proceeds raised directed towards funding FFTH’s five core programmes and community initiatives.

Passion Ball 2024 promises to be an extraordinary evening filled with elegance and enchantment, taking guests on a journey to experience the renowned art, beauty and culture of the historic city of Venice in "A Night in Venice".
Food from the Heart
Established in 2003 with the aim of redirecting unsold bread to the needy in Singapore, Food from the Heart has been providing reliable, consistent and sustainable food support to the less fortunate through efficient food distribution for two decades. As an independent, home-grown food charity, we work with grassroots organisations, schools and welfare homes to reach out to vulnerable individuals and families. All funds raised go towards supporting Food from the Heart’s programmes and community initiatives. It is with your unwavering support that we are now making a difference to more than 60,000 lives monthly in 2022.

#2 Laurence Jenkell’s Art Piece
Bonbon Dragon Rouge Et Noir, No. 1191
Jenkell’s entire oeuvre is a phenomenon of crystallisation towards materialised desire into an object. The candy itself either desire, object or pleasure reminding feelings of sweet childlike memories and attracting our senses as bees are attracted to honey. The object transmuted into another object: the Jenkell’s wrappings! Indeed, the artist developed a new technique, “jenkellising”, any object just by draping and twisting plexiglass into a wrapped candy.

This initiative addresses food insecurity, promoting both physical and mental development in children while easing the financial strain on low-income families.

Theme: A Symphony of Passion
Venue: The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia SingaporeThe Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Food from the Heart joined hands to present a joint fundraising gala, A Symphony of Passion. The event aimed to raise funds to support both charities and their respective missions to impact and reach communities. The fundraising gala included an exquisite dining experience, along with a series of live performances by the national orchestra. Donations went on an equal-share basis towards supporting the SSO in its artistic pursuits locally and internationally, and Food from the Heart in its quest to create a world free of hunger.
